Main Menu

Hello, I am trying to install a new theme, I have installed it, however, because the system has so many pages the menu does not fit.
How can I tell it to only display the home page and about us page on there, since the others on a sidebar and therefore do not need to be
on the main menu?

I have looked everywhere but cannot find how to do it.
