Main menu lead to differnet side menus?
-
Managed to go from main navigation header menu to a sidebar menu using JQuery Accordion Menu widget (brilliant!).
I’d now like to have different sidebar accordion menus depending on which main menu link is selected. (eg. main menu might have tabs for ‘my portfolio’ and ‘about our studio’, each of which would take you a different accordion sidebar menu.
Under ‘Widgets’ I can put two JQuery Accordian Menus into the Main Sidebar area and name them differently, but I can’t find a way to allocate them to different pages or sections (or templates perhaps?).
Can anyone advise a best (simple?) way to go about this? Would it perhaps involve creating a duplicate page.php and selecting it as a template somehow?
I did duplicate page.php, gave it a name ‘about.php’ and stuck it in the page-templates folder – it comes up as a template choice (About Template) when I make a new page.
I dont really understand the templates thing yet, how to get one to work.
Many thanks for any help.
