Did you set your from name and from address under the settings tab and then sending account? If you don’t specify a from address those mail links may not work.
Yes, though in the sending account setup, I’ve got the “send emails via my website” option checked (the site has shared hosting). Could this be why it’s happening?
There’s an email link in the footer that’s working — I’m only having trouble with mailto links in the body of the email.

Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot of what you have set in the basic styles area. It’s under settings and it is above where you edit the template style. I’d like to see what information it says there. You could also try sending an email to me, Doug at Sendpress dot com

We think we found an issue that may have caused the @ symbol to be stripped out when clicking the link. But we’re not sure why it’s adding localhost for you. We will get that out in the future release and perhaps you can test again and we can keep troubleshooting if necessary.
Thanks for your help!
I tested again and am still having the same problem. I’ll send a test email and a screenshot.

Keirele,
Your problem should be fixed when we get the next release out. That’s exactly the problem we were able to duplicate on our side and we fixed it in our development builds.
