MailPoet 4.0

    I’ve had MailPoet update plugin notifications (MailPoet and MailPoet Premium 4.0) for several days. I waited a few to see if there was any fallout since it appears to be a major update. After not seeing any issues posted here I updated MailPoet to 4.0 but after doing that the MailPoet Premium update disappeared.

    After opening MailPoet 4.0 I see the message: “You have an older version of the Premium plugin. The features have been disabled in order not to break MailPoet. Please update it in the Plugins page now.”

    But the Plugins page show MailPoet Premium at Version 3.103.0 and no option to update. How should I proceed?

    For an unknown reason the update for MailPoet Premium reappeared this morning. I wish I knew what the mystery behind the delay is. Cron?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    This sounds weird indeed since both updates are released at the same time so it could be some delay on your site indeed.

    In such cases, you can go to WP Admin > Updates and click the Check again button under WordPress Updates. This should bring them over immediately.
