I built a Forminator form containing three name fields, an email field, a phone field, two input fields, a radio button field and a textarea field.

I added the Mailchimp API and integrated my MailChimp list with Forminator.

I filled out a form and sent it.

Forminator returned this (ungrammatical) message: “Failed to processing request : Your merge fields were invalid.”

On review of the “Assign Fields” process, I see Forminator appears to demand an equivalent “Mailchimp Field” for each “Forminator Field” or the entire process goes bust.

Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to know to make Forminator forms integrate with Mailchimp?

    Hi @bobjones,

Yes, you’ll need to ensure the same fields you have in Forminator is created on the Mailchimp side.

Please check the following documentation for more info:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#mailchimp

If you still have issues even after that, then please export the form and share the export file in the next reply so that we could have a better idea regarding what might be causing it.

You can use Google Drive, Dropbox or any such cloud services to share the file export.

I have also brought the grammar part of the sentence you have highlighted to our team. Thanks for that.

Please do let us know how it goes. Have a nice day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
