Thanks for posting to the forum. I certainly understand the frustration this would’ve caused.
As I’d mentioned in the thread below, our plugin developers will actually be requesting formal approval for the new plugin from WordPress, so we’d expect to see version 1.4.2 available for download within a day or two. I’ll be providing an update here, when that happens:

In the mean time, feel free to post any questions you might have, and we’ll be happy to get them answered. Additionally, it may be worthwhile to try out MailChimp’s embed code, while we wait for that update to be made available. Information on adding that embed code to a site can be found in this article:

I’m happy to confirm that version 1.4.2 of the plugin is live, and you should now see an option to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin from within your site’s dashboard.
