We’re having issues with our site. Customers are unable to checkout, and we as administrators are unable to log in due to the following error:

Warning: max() [function.max]: Array must contain at least one element in /home/content/29/10515829/html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-mailchimp-extension/lib/tools.php on line 116

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/29/10515829/html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-mailchimp-extension/lib/tools.php:116) in /home/content/29/10515829/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1179

It seems clearly like a Mailchimp Plug-in issue, but the trouble is, the error pops up when we try to log in to the admin panel to fix it blocking us from logging in. We’re handcuffed.

Does anyone know how we can disable the mail chimp plug-in without actually logging into our site?

  • Whenever a plugin prevents you from logging in, you can connect via FTP and either rename or delete the plugin’s folder under wp-content/plugins.

Thanks for the reply. Where do I do that? I tried finding this route through the wordpress.com site, but since Jetpack has not yet been enabled it tries to bring me to the admin panel to enable it, again creating the error and not allowing me to log in.

    Hey @madalchemy,

Based on the error, I doubt you are using our plugin. The folder name of our plugin is “mailchimp-for-wp”. The one you are using is a different plugin and you will need to contact the developer of the plugin for further support.
