Magic Fields 2 not posting images

    I wanted to rebuild my old website that used magic fields for the image posts on my portfolio page. On my actual site I have no problem using magic fields to add and change images. Since i wanted to make some edits to my custom wordpress theme I copied the code from my server and placed it within MAMP so that i could work on it locally. I set up a local wordpress database and imported the site to it. Now none of my images show up. I realized i had to reinstall magic fields since this was the local wordpress. After doing this thinking it would fix the issue nothing happened. I upload an image to a post (magic field titled “port_thumb”) it uploads successfully. Then when I hit publish the image disappears from the post. Any ideas?

    Just to clarify, when you say “magic fields”, are you referring to “Custom_Fields“?

    If so, Custom Fields are theme and plugin specific. If you are not using the theme or plugin that processes the “port_thumb” Custom Field key, the Custom Field key will not work. Another possibility is that the URL path to the images you uploaded on your local site do not match the URL paths assigned to the Custom Field values.
