Ludicrous pricing

Make sure to check the pricing carefully before considering CookieBot. Pricing is not just per website but per page. A website (and most active weblogs get to this count after a few years) with 5000 pages requires €37/month subscription. Many sites of that size unless very high traffic could host for that monthly fee.

This is the mask of open source on top of the most cunning and exploitative pricing model possible.

Nice web design, though, fellas. You do look FOSS and friendly.

PS. I had a very useful link to the actual pricing page at CookieBot but alas Jan Dembowski removed it. It would make more sense if WordPress removed the link button from the WYSIWYG editor in the plugin directory if they don’t want links!
