Lower Case Letters Tagline-Help!

  • Hi Guys,

    Do you have any idea how to change the site tagline/description into a combination of upper case and lower case letters. It appears to have been locked on upper case.

    Your time is appreciated.

  • And is it possible to have it looked like this with a quote?

    “I am a site tagline,thank you”

    Your help is much appreciated.

    In your-site.tld/wp-content/themes/highwind/style.css you will find a class selector called .site-description. It contains an attribute called text-transform that is responsible for the upper case letters you observed.

    .site-description {
      font-size: .844em;
      font-weight: 400;
      text-transform: uppercase;
    ...
    }

    Either remove this line or create child theme and override the option by setting: text-transform: none;

    I’d recommend using a child theme, because otherwise your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.
