• I have successfully installed menus with parents and children which are functioning successfully on the side menus, where post are linking to them in the correct categories. However although these same categories show in the navigation headers, they are not functioning and do not link to the posts. Can you help please?

  • Can you Right-Click and copy the link from both the working sidebar one, and the broken navigation one?

For example, say you have “About Us” on the sidebar, and “About Us” on the nav. Copy the link for both of these, and compare what’s different. It could help narrow down what’s going on.

Thanks- yes I can see that each link is different in fact the non working navigation links are as they were set up originally and haven’t taken on the changes (children menus and changed names) that I’ve done to customize the menus.whereas the side bar shortcuts reflect the menu changes.

Thanks it helps to identify the problem, but I don’t know what to do next!

Hm, what theme are you using? Have you checked under the Customizer if your theme is properly linking the navigation headers to right headers? Maybe your theme is still set to the old ones?

    Thanks
I’ve looked in theme (which is lovecraft) customise – navigation. It says my theme supports one menu and that the primary menus is “log” – this is the same named menu as the one showing when I go into menus and can see all the correct edited menus!
    I’m really exasperated!
