    Hello Tim,
    Hope you can help me.
    I translated my strings in the default.po, hit the save button, then synced. Since then I don’t have a default.po anymore only a theme.pot file which I cannot edit. Can you tell me what to do?
    I deinstalled Loco translate and reinstalled it, but that didn’t change anything. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance, Dagmar/Dagvanmorgen

    Loco never deletes files, so I can’t account for why your default.po was removed.

    default.po should not contain translations. If you are not the theme author you should leave it alone. It is a template file and should only contain English and no translations.

    The POT file appeared because Loco uses standard naming conventions, and default.po is not a standard template file name.

    To create new translations add a language and edit the PO file that Loco creates for that.
