Lost stats after creating staging website

Hi there,

We have a problem with the stats of our website after dev team created a staging website for tests and which has been deleted since (without inserting the jp code for staging).

Jetpack still detects the staging website and gives error message so
we keep the website in safe mode… as we’re not sure what to do. In the meanwhile no stats show up..

Are we losing the live website when we turn it off and chose the staging website as main (as staging site doesn’t exist anymore?)

Anyone could kindly help us out?
