lost search bar animation

I made my own theme for a website by taking chunks and parts of Twenty Thirteen and putting them back together. (Maybe I should call the theme “Frankenstein”.) There were a couple of things from Twenty Thirteen I wanted to keep, one of them being the animated search field in the navbar. Of course, I managed to lose it, and I can’t figure out how to get it back. I have the necessary icons, but only in my localhost environment. However, you can probably get a good idea of how bad I screwed up by going to dow p vibin and taking a look. Any advice you could give this old grey mare would be very much appreciated.
