i’m trying to login from web page at http://rockchalktheboat.com/wp-login.php. I don’t have my records for admin name, password or email used to set it up. Can I recover from some place? or do I have to start all over?
    Thx

    Hello, Dave.

Did you have a chance to read my advice, or any of the information I pointed you to yet? The links include very good instructions on how to reset your admin password and get back in – if you are the admin.

Log into your account at Godaddy, Bluehost, or wherever your site is being hosted. Once logged into your hosting account, go to your control panel and change your admin password using phpMyAdmin. The admin’s login name is usually “admin”. After that, you can log back in to the dashboard on your WordPress site and recover your email from your user profile.

I loged into my 1&1 controll panel and reset my pasward from ther. I then whent back to my wordpress login and how I get a 500 server error. Any ideas?
    Dave

You either did not completely follow the instructions in the guide I linked you to, or you accidentally changed something else that should not have been changed. To be honest, I have no idea what you’ve done to cause that 500 error. It might be a good idea to contact the support group at 1&1 for some assistance with the 500 error.

    – And again, as I mentioned and suggested,
