    Hi
I just used your server-side compression plugin for wordpress
I have tried both tiny png and smush before and neither seemed to work for me. Bulk opimisation would just freese and when I used tin png it effected upload speeds and generated http errors when uploading. But your plugin seems to have worked pretty easily. So I’m really pleased and also there seems to have been no charge which of course is a major bonus. If I’m honest I cant notice any difference in performance at the moment but I’m sure there must be and it might just be my internet connection
I just have a couple of questions. To my understanding lossless compression should not effect the quality of the original image. Am I right in saying that the free version I used does use lossless compression ? Also there is now a really annoying column on the right side of my image library giving the compression results for each image. I use the library in real detail in order to order my images and this creates huge gaps between each image making the library much less user friendly. Can I hide or remove this column?
    Thanks
    Andrew

The free version can only use lossless compression on JPGs, but does have a lossy option for PNG images, but everything defaults to lossless.
You can hide the image results column by clicking the Screen Options button near the top right of the media library page. There you can control how many images are displayed at once, and show/hide any columns you like.

    Thanks

If you want to minimise reduction of image quality lossless is best isnt it?
