There is a Ditty News Ticker widget that you can use to display a ticker through widgets. All tickers will repeat/scroll indefinitely once they are loaded.
If you only have 1 or 2 ticks added to your ticker and there seems to be empty space after your 2nd tick, this is because a single tick will not display again until it has completely left the screen. To get around this issue you just need to create more ticks and duplicate your existing ticks in order to fill that empty space.
