Longevity Front Page Theme and Subscription Link

    Hello,

    I am using Reclaim Hosting and downloaded the WordPress app for my blog http://www.trishaoconnor.com. I chose the Longevity theme and have been endeavouring, rather unsuccessfully, to recreate the front page by following the tutorial. Here’s the link: http://trishaoconnor.com/front-page/

    I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing wrong? I don’t know how to make the front page the principal page of the website? Or how to get my drop down menus above the banner image?

    Also how do I put a subscription button or link on the website so people can follow me?

    I’d appreciate all your help!
