    Hi Elyse,

The logo can be positioned and resized with the logo tools in the Customizer. However, the logo was not designed to span the whole width of the page, and this would require a lot of customization.

An easier solution would be to use the Image widget to add an image in the Before Main Content area (example).

    Howdy Ben –

Thanks! Do you know a rough size I would need to tell a designer if I wanted to go the image widget route?

Something like 900 x 300 or something like this?

(Or is that widly large & would look silly?)

Thanks again – you are so kind with your advice!

    Ben,

I just played around with the logo image. It seems the logo image (using image widget) can be above the main content area, but not above the navigation bar. I am afraid I might need some customization (b/c I dont want to change templates). Do you have an email I can email you off this thread? Alternatively, do you have an email of someone who can do a couple of wordpress coding help work for me?

    Thanks,
    Elyse

    Elyse,

Okay I see. For customizations like this I always recommend codeable.io. They’ll connect you right away with a developer who can get this done for you.
