Logo resolution incompatible for retina generation?

Hi!

I’m having a strange problem. A while ago I used this plugin to generate a retina logo for a website of mine. The logo resolution was 298×80. So I followed the instructions and uploaded another logo, doubled the dimensions and renamed it to @2x.png. Everything worked fine!

Now I’m creating another site that should have the same logo, but this time it doesn’t work. It doesn’t generate a retina logo. Even though I’m using the exact same logo files. I noticed in the dashboard, that all of the letter icons are red, in my first site one of them was blue or yellow. It’s like the resolution is wrong or something. I just don’t understand how it could work the first time but not the second time. I’ve done the exact same thing. The logos are in the same folder as well.
