Logo not displaying in header | WordPress.org

Using the Goran theme and just upgraded to the lastest versions of Edin (1.2.2)/Goran (1.2)/WordPress (4.3.1) and the few plugins that I have and now my logo won’t display in the header…just the Site Title in text. I’ve removed and uploaded my logo several times under Theme / Customize /Header Image. I’ve deactivated my plugins and re-activated them but that didn’t work. I’ve changed themes but that didn’t help either. Help! GreveraDesigns.com

Could you please confirm that Jetpack is active on the site? You’ll need to make sure that plugin is active to use the Site Logo feature.

Thanks Kathryn, I wasn’t using it before I updated the theme but I guess it’s now manadatory. I installed JetPack and my logo is now displaying. Thank you so much!!

Jetpack was always required in order to use the Site Logo feature so I’m not sure what changed, but I’m glad things are working now!

Perhaps you were using the Custom Header option before, not the Site Logo? That doesn’t require Jetpack and is available in the Customizer under Theme > Customize > Header Image, whereas the Site Logo is under Theme > Customize > Site Title, Tagline, and Logo. In any case glad you’re all set now!

I was indeed using the Header Image option but it was working before the upgrade. Again, thanks for your prompt replies!
