I’m completely new to WordPress. I’ve been asked to change the logo/image that is on the header banner, on the left side of the menu options. I cannot find where to change this at. We have a custom theme. The Appearance –> Customize does not have a Site Logo option. It has Site Icon option but nothing is selected/set there so it can’t be pulling from there. This is everything that is in my header.php file from our custom theme’s directory:

Please do not post large code or responses like that here, it doesn’t work after ~10 lines or so.

is your “logo” a background image — maybe look in css files for your custom theme
```
a.logo, .home .short a.logo {
    display: block;
    width: 168px;
    height: 52px;
    background: url(images/real-logo-wh.svg) no-repeat center top / 168px 52px;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    overflow: hidden;
}
```
maybe it’s a svg that has white colored text:

I’ve uploaded the new image, overwriting that image, and I cleared the cache (via SiteGround). The image is still showing as the old image.

a few ideas since I can’t see inside your files…
-contact SiteGround support team for guidance
-contact original theme developer for guidance
-double check on the new image’s URL
-change CSS for background image for logo link
