I used a logo at 1166 × 384 px, it was recommended at this size so that the logo looks good on retina display.

I notice a problem when using any normal web browser to view the site.
When loading the site the logo appears as it is normally, after a few secs upon the site completely loads finish, the logo get stretch a little to the right.

I am using EWWW Image Optimizer plugin on the site too, not sure if this is the plugin creating this problem.

My website can be found at http://alturl.com/2utht

Any can teach me to understand how to resolve this?

  • You can try temporarily deactivating the plugin to see if it’s the culrpit.

Did you make any edits to the theme files, including any CSS? If so, try reverting back to the original theme to see if the problem persists.

    Hi Kathryn

I have tried to deactivate the plugin but it is still happening and i did not make changes to the CSS except for the footer part.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been able to replicate the issue and have reported it to our developers so they can take a look. We’ll keep you posted here – thanks for the report.

    Hi Kathryn

Thanks for the follow up, any updates so far ?

Our developers found that this might be related to the max-width that’s added to the .site-branding div in the navigation.js file. It’s added just after page load, so there’s a flash before the style changes. There is no fix yet, but we’ll keep this thread updated.
