  • Hi Dreamstone, can you please post the link of your page.

    Also, in order to make changes, you need to create the Child Theme.

    Child Theme

    Hi, Mybdbis!
    Here is my site
    Thank you for advice! Forgot about creating child theme.

    Now try this into your stylesheet of Child Theme:

    .hgroup-wrap {
        padding-bottom: 0;
        padding-top: 0;

    Done. But it seems there is no changes.

    I have checked your site again and its still showing below:

    .hgroup-wrap {
        padding-bottom: 35px;
        padding-top: 15px;

    Make sure your child theme is activated and you made the changes in the style.css file in your Child Theme

    Got it!
    I have to go some other way, using plugin for custom CSS ( and paste your code.
    Now area below logo disappeared.
    I think, area above logo can be removed the same method.
    Thank you very much!

    Glad it works.

    The Plugin is workable. But the best method is to create a Child theme and make edit on the CSS file (style.css) in Child Theme by ‘Editor’ under ‘Appearance’ from Dashboard. This way, it will never alter the base theme.

    All the best!!

    OK! Thanks again for upgrading my (and other users) skill!

    My pleasure indeed.

    Good that you already resolved this issue!

    Actually you have an option to put your custom CSS in the theme. Go to Theme Options – Other – Custom CSS. It will act the same way like your previously mentioned plugin.

    And like @mybdbis mentioned, it is better to use Child Theme. This will work any time under any circumstances if done right.

    Could I please have suggestions on what to set the hgroupwrap if I wish the slider to remain? Setting it at 0,0 of course removes everything and then when I go to adjust settings within child’s theme it will not re adjust. Must I delete and start again?

    Also while I’m here I’d really appreciate advices on moving the primary header up to the top of the nav slider header picture?
