Login page wont load

    Hi

    Today for some reason my sites login page wont load. On chrome and on a smart phone I can get it to load by stopping the page loading after a short period. In firefox it just wont load at all it just keeps trying to load.

    It is strange behaviour as it was working okay.

    I hope someone has experienced the same issue or knows a fix.

    Hi,

    Not had any other reports of this. Can you do a conflict test and see if anyting is conflicting with UM?

    I have done a conflict test and found that a PDF viewer plugin (https://themencode.com/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/) is where the conflict lies after an update to both plugins.

    I have logged a support ticket with them so hopefully we will find a resolution.

    I have done a lot of testing and contacted both of the developers of the plugins that seem to conflict. They seem to think it could be the UM plugin.

    I see on version 1.3.53: June 01, 2016 – Login redirection was fixed/modified.
    I have a site running your plugin with the PDF viewer and Popupmaker plugins with no problems. It is running your version 1.3.13.

    Could there be an issue with that change that is causing the conflict?

    It could be a conflict in a latest version but we have to update UM to fix issues/bugs, so future versions with code changes can result in conflicts occasionally.

    Hi

    It is strange as the login page wont load.
    However if I invoke the inspection/developer tool (right click > inspect) the login form appears. If I close the tool down and then select the logo to go back to the home page the login form wont load until I trun the inspection/developer tool back on.

    Do you have any idea why this could be?

    Thanks very much for your reply.

    That seems to have sorted the issue i.e. the form now displays for the login page.

    However, the page still has the circle in the tab showing it is still trying to load and never loads fully. I am not sure if this is something to do with the redirect (it never used to do this)? That doesnt seem right and memory usage seems to keep increasing for the browser when viewing task manager.

    Apologies I was not clear at all.

    I was referring to teh page loading gif that appears in the tab of the page.

    Hello,
    I’m from France, so sorry for my english !
    I have the same probleme
    Even if the profile button work….if the person is not connected, in the front-page the three buttons “login-logout-register” don’t work. what ever the page adresse is, the button take the same value “like you stay on the same page each time” !!
    The pages & forms are correctlly configurated on the parametres, all work if I go to view in each page manually. But the buttons on the menu don’t work I don’t know way ?!!!

    I did a conflict test, doesn’t change any thing cause when I change the theme to twenty fefteen I can’t see the buttons any more !
