    Hi,

I am using your plugin on a lot of websites. Suddendly I am not able to login into backend. I am using the feature to rename the login URL,

Are all these sites running in the same server or different servers? Did something change in these sites to cause this issue, for example: did you update a plugin or theme? If they all run in the same server did some setting change in the server?

When I try to login with correct UN, PASS and recaptcha test, nothing happens. It only refreshes the login page.

Are your sites running a cache plugin?

I would like to avoid removing the plugin and reinstalling it again, so I don’t loose all the settings on all pages. PS:. The websites are working normally.

If you reinstall the plugin, you will not loose your settings.

    Regards

Yes, all of these pages are running on the same server, but I am almost 100% sure we didn’t change anything on the server recently. Also regarding plugins, themes… we always update everything, so I’m not sure what could cause the issue.

Some site have cache plugins, some don’t.

If you reinstall the plugin, you will not loose your settings.

I will test and reinstall the plugin on one page and will come back to you with the outcome.
    Thank you.

    UPDATE:
When I reinstall the plugin I am immediately logged out and cannot login again. The issue remains the same.

    I only see two options:
1.) Am I able to manually deactivate “force log out setting” somehow? I am namely logged out as soon as I reinstall the plugin.
2.) How can I reinstall the plugin without the saved settings?

    Thank you for your support.

Hi, try the following steps. But bare in mind that eventually you might have to delete all your settings and begin from scratch.

    1) use CPANEL file manager (or FTP) and temporarily rename this plugin’s folder.
    eg, rename from
    all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall
    to
    tmp-all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall

    2) Get your currently active .htaccess file and remove all the code which is between and including the following tags:
    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

    3) Log into your site using the standard login link – ie, wp-login.php. Then rename the folder back to all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall.

    4) Once logged in you can disable or re-configure the feature(s) which were giving you problems.

    5) And if you want to clear all the settings from the plugin to start from scratch, install the following reset addon. Then once the addon is installed, make sure AIOWPS plugin is deactivated and then run the reset addon in your site. Once the settings are reset in the plugin, enable AIOWPS and start from scratch.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards
