Login Not Permitted

No matter what my password gets changed to (I’ve had to change it several times in the last hour, as none of the logins work even after changing the password) I cannot get in. I am now getting the error message: “You have reached the maximum number of logins WITHOUT using 2-factor authentication. Please contact the admin to reset your account.”

I AM the administrator, so you can see how this is a major issue. The passwords I’ve entered have never been wrong, so I fail to understand how WordPress can say they’re incorrect.

In order to help me, you might also like to know that I am using two-step authentication with “Authenticator.”
