• Hello, I am new to multipress. I am working with a dedicated server and I just set up the network. I have one subdomain installed. The issue I am having is that from a super admin perspective I can view all my sites and when I click on a site to view dashboard, I have to re-login and when I do re-login, I cannot see my super admin menu options. Is this normal? Thanks!

If you mean “When I log in as my super admin account on sub.domain.com, I no longer see the ‘Network Admin’ button in my gray toolbar.” then no, that is not normal.

    Turn off all your plugins.

Just turn off my plugins…Then what? Also, It forces me to login to every sub domain via the wordpress login. HELP 🙂

Turn off your plugins and see if the issue resolves. 🙂 It’s called debugging.

You will always need to log in separately to your subdomains, however. This has to do with cross-domain cookies (which is for your safety). That part is normal. The part where the ‘network admin’ button on the menu vanishes is not. Though you never said if that was a correct assessment of your issues….

Hi Mika, Thanks for your help. I dont have the network admin showing in my sub domain login. Could you give me a reference point to debugging this issue? IS there something in particular I should be looking for so this button shows up in my sub domains? Thanks again

Did you turn off all your plugins?

Can you access the URL manually (go to domain.com/wp-admin/network )?

You always start by assuming a plugin is being an idiot 🙂
