• I have four similiar wordpress websites ( themes, plugins, versions ) and it only does this behavior, I am about to explain, on one of them; very consistently.

(#1) When I attempt to login to the dashboard, it often says I have attempted to login too many many times and have to wait 30 minutes to try again. It does this on my first login attempt, and often I have not even attempted to login for days / weeks.

(#2) On the rare occasions that ( #1 ) does not happen, it most always complains about cookies having to be enabled, and they are enabled ( although I do delete cookies automatically when exiting the browser session. ) Again, this behavior only happens on this one-same website and not the other three which are all executing from the same computer and chrome browser.

    Thoughts, suggestions?

    Thanks for your help.

Your go-to tool in this situation is the Activity log. Check events that are logged for your IP address. Probably a plugin tries to keep you logged in one browser window, while you’re logged out in another.

    Hello,

I attempted to submit this question to the Cerber Security forum. Somehow, it seemed to redirect to a general wordpress forum, with a moderator note. Are you saying this is not a Ceber Security Issue, or are you saying this was not posted correctly?

    Best,
