Login attacks.

    My blog of over 10 years, now inactive but on line for reference,has been under constant attack by log in attempts. Thinking I would stop this I deleted wp-login.php but that had no effect, the Limit Login Attempts plugin reports that the attacks continue unabated, and I would like to know how this is being accomplished and if there is a solution. Thanks for any help.

    Long story short – for the most part, you can’t actually stop the attempts – but you can turn them away at the door.
