  • Hi there,

The Login Designer admin page is not the actual /wp-login.php/ page that you use to actually log into your website. It’s the template that the Customizer uses to enable the live editing. That’s why you’re not able to set it as the home page.

When the Customizer is saved, those customizations are saved on your WordPress login page (at /wp-login.php/). If you set that core login page as your home page, the customizations you made will still be there.

I’m honestly not sure how to set a login page as your home page, though I did find a recourse on Stack Overflow that could help.

    I hope this helps!

I have the same problem it seems. After publishing the login designer page I dont know what to do to make it the login page for my site.
How do you set the core login page as home page as you suggest ?
    thanks in advance

    Hi @bluemomodragon,

You shouldn’t have to do anything extra. The plugin simply adds styling to the core WordPress admin login screen. If you go to example.com/wp-admin page on your website, you should see the changes there.

Ah, thank you. I found the culprit. My theme was pointing to another login screen. I removed that now it sees the login designer page.

But now I want to change the page i published before. But all i see are the templates. Do i have to start from scratch each time ?

    looking good though.

Ah never mind i had to deactivate and activate the plugin now i can work on prior published page.

Awesome! Glad to hear it’s working! Enjoy!
