• I need assistance;
    I am relatively new at setting up my own site but have been enjoying learning how things work and figuring out how to resolve issues that I’ve encountered, but this issue is frustrating me.

    I recently installed and activated a Plug-in named Story Lines. Unfortunately, it was a plug-in I wasnt able to use, so I deleted it. Afterward, I received an error message at the top of my dashboard (and every subsequent page I went to) that included:

    Warning: include_once(/home/micpay14/thesixsixthree.com/wp-content/plugins/story-lines/story-lines-widget.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/micpay14/thesixsixthree.com/wp-content/plugins/story-lines/story-lines.php on line 112

    I thought that logging out was a possible solution then, then logging back in would help, but it didn’t. In fact, I cant log back in at all.

    Can someone guide me so I can log in and poassibly resolve this issue?

    Thanks in advance…

  • Sounds like there may still be some remnants of the plugin on your site. Try accessing your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the /story-lines directory. See if that allows you to access your site logon again.
