Log in not recognised

I installed OK. Logged in. Changed my password. 1 hour later I tried to re-enter but was refused first with the new password and also with the original. When I give my Email address to get a new password sent I get the message that this Email is not recognised. Very frustrating and daunting. I am not very computer literate so any help would be very much appreciated.
