Log in Header bar

Hi –

I cannot find a way to place my logo to the left or the search box, social media icons and navigation in the header bar. It appears to have been done in the Make showcase site found at http://peterotts.com/. Can anyone tell me how this is done? I do not see any place to add the logo to the header bar in the customizer, only to the header itself. Thank you.
