• Hi.
If I uncheck the “Log Emails” option, are emails that failed to send still logged?
If not, how can I ensure that the logs only retain emails that failed to send please?

    TIA

Currently, unchecking “Log Emails” in SureMails settings turns off logging entirely, it applies to both successfully sent and failed emails, so failed sends won’t be recorded either. There isn’t a separate option right now to log only failed emails.
One thing worth knowing: since our logging also drives the automatic retry for failed sends, turning “Log Emails” off means failed emails won’t be retried automatically either, not just left unlogged.
If you’d like failed sends to still be logged, the current recommendation is to keep “Log Emails” enabled and instead use the “Delete logs after” setting to control how long logs are retained (e.g. set it to 1 day) , this keeps failures logged short-term while auto-clearing old sent-email logs.
A dedicated “log only failed emails” option isn’t available yet, but this is a reasonable feature request. I’ll pass it along to the team for consideration in a future update.
