Thank you for the answer.
I already saw it in the faqs, but it doesn’t resolve the problem.
River is the theme I use, but they cannot support me anymore.
Hope you can help me.

Marking as resolved because version 2.0 is in beta and should fix the long-standing JSON parsing issue. https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/developers
If you still have problems with your theme in version 2, please open a new ticket and provide a download link to the theme source code.

Thank you for your answer but unfortunatly it is still not working.
Now I get this: Empty PO data
And how do I provide a download link to the theme source code? as you asked me to do?
Thanks for now.

Are you saying you get the Empty PO data in version 2.0?
How you provide access to your theme source code is down to you. Open source themes are all found here: https://wordpress.org/themes/ There is no support for paid-for themes.

Yes, so I think I must have done something wrong.

I’ve identified a bug in version 2.0 that produces “Empty PO data” due to “magic quotes”. Looking into a fix now. Thanks.

I’ve deployed a fix to the development branch for this. Can you let me know if you still get “Empty PO data”?

Thank you! This has been fixed, I don’t get that anymore.
But I still don’t see my translation, so I think it has to do with my ignorance.

I suggest you contact your theme vendor for help.
Also worth looking at the following page for theme authors: https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/authors
