    Hi WPCafe Team,

since updating to WPCafe 3.0.18, some strings in the new reservation form are no longer translated, e.g. “Reservation Summary”, “Name”, “Date”, “Time”, “Total Guests” and “Previous”.

The German translations are present in Loco Translate, but the frontend still displays these strings in English.

Is this a known issue with the new reservation form, and is there a recommended solution?

    Thank you!

    Hi @itkaufbeuren,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for bringing this to our attention. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused!

To be honest, this specific issue was not reported previously, and translation testing was unfortunately missed during our latest release QA. We sincerely apologize for the oversight.

If the translations were working correctly in your previous version, we recommend rolling back to that earlier version temporarily while our team investigates and works on a fix.

We are actively checking this bug now, and if the translation missing is confirmed in release 3.0.18, we will deploy a fix as soon as possible and keep you updated.

Thank you for your patience and support!

    Best regards,

    M Mahbub

    Hi @itkaufbeuren,

We have checked and double-checked this thoroughly on our end with the latest version of WPCafe, and the core reservation form strings are translating properly via Loco Translate.

    Some Screenshots:

Regarding the specific fields you mentioned:

    • Strings like “Name”, “Date”, “Time”, and “Total Guests” are dynamic form field labels https://prnt.sc/_toq8_aq1bVr Because WPCafe allows you to customize form field names directly from your WordPress admin settings, these labels take whatever custom text you enter in the settings rather than defaulting strictly to static translation files.
    • You can easily update or translate these labels directly from WPCafe > Reservation > Customization (where you define your form fields and their custom labels).

Could you please check your reservation form settings in the admin panel to see if those field labels are set in your preferred language there? Also, ensure your Loco Translate template/pot file has been synced to pick up any updated static strings like “Reservation Summary” and “Previous”.

If you’re still seeing any specific string not reflecting after checking the field label settings, please let us know via our landing so we can jump directly for helping you and we’ll gladly take a closer look with you!

    Best regards,

    M Mahbub
