• Does Cerber Security have an option to lockout a site visitor who causes multiple 404 errors. It is clear indication that he is testing the site for existing vulnerabilities

    No, there is no such an option. But the plugin inspects suspicious requests like probing for vulnerable PHP code. That is more clear indication that someone/bot is testing a site for some vulnerabilities. On the other hand multiple requests for non-existing pages do not necessarily indicate malicious activity.

    I can’t think of a scenario in which multiple 404 requests can be caused by a regular user on a well maintained site. Such a protection looks like a simple trap for scripts which try to collect information for the plugins used for example, no regular user whould do that
