    Hi. Ok, I installed this yesterday and have a couple of questions. First, does it run a firewall scan and show results?

    Next, I am locked out with the plugin after enabling the Lockdown and checking xml-rpc ‘disable anonymous rest API.

    I did get back into my site by renaming the plugin (as per isntructions), I am back in and was able to edit the settings from dashboard then reactivate. BUT IT THEN LOCKED ME OUT ANYWAY. Still cant access my site without the forceoff file.

    What do these setting do that locked me out?

    I enabled Lockdown
    I checked Disable Anonymous Rest API

    I edited this a couple of times, just to be clear I do need help if I am going to use the plugin. I do not have access to my site without the forceoff file, meaning the plugin is not active.

    Hi Celestial,

    Can you please tell us what is the exact error message you receive on the screen when you’re locked out?

    To help you determine what is blocking you, the Shield Security plugin has an Audit Trail module.

    You will find it in Shield Security Dashboard.

    Turn it on (if haven’t already) and then turn the plugin back on.

    When you get locked out, the Audit Trail should log it.

    Copy the exact error message and send it to us.
