WordFence is reporting all wrong locations in the Live Traffic tab? We have just moved to AWS and seeing that under the LIVE TRAFFIC all user locations being reported are wrong. The same users on Google Analytics are logged in from UAE and WF is showing Amsterdam?? What could be the problem? How do we fix this?

    Hi @danishhaidri

As you have just migrated your website to AWS have you checked that Wordfence is detecting IP addresses correctly in case you are also using AWS’s Cloudfront CDN for example:

    Hi @wfphil

Thanks for the reply. We are not using AWS Cloudfront. All the settings are the same as before including all CDN’s:

    1. Cloudflare
    2. KeyCDN

WF is detecting all IP’s incorrectly. How do we fix this?

    Hi @danishhaidri

    Thank you for the update.

Your statement below is not clear so can you provide a very precise and detailed description please:

“The same users on Google Analytics are logged in from UAE and WF is showing Amsterdam?”

    Hi @wfphil,

We also have Google Analytics and comparing both ONLINE users we are can see where the users are coming from. In GA it may show a users from UAE while the same users on LIVE TRAFFIC shows the user from Amsterdam.

This has never happened before until we moved to AWS. Is WordFence compatible with AWS?
