Locations: Category search not working

    I have added events category and tags taxonomy to locations as explained in the tutorial and assigned category X to a location.

    Now if I filter locations list or map for a category X, it only shows locations which have upcoming events. How can I show all locations from category X?

    This may be related to the bug mentioned here, but it occurs regardless of whether user is logged in or not.
