Where do we put the language file wp-polls.mo so that it’ll be preserved on updated?

This plugin doesn’t use mo/po file anymore. It uses glotpress https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-polls

Hi Lester,

You should remove links to http://dev.wp-plugins.org/browser/wp-polls/i18n/ in your plugin’s page under “Translation” because this is misleading. Just spent some time trying to make those .mo files work on the latest version. Glad I found this post on top 🙂
