It is not clear if you are experiencing problems with the plugin, but I will assume that you are asking about the generation of the API key, which requires to have a valid email address and domain name. Since “localhost” is not a valid domain the API service rejects the generation of the API key. But you can circumvent this by generating the key manually sending a HTTP request to the API service using the action “register_site” or simply requesting one via email to info@sucuri.net
