    Hi Wordfencers!
I’m writing just to receive an explanation about “Sync State” values in Wordfence Central.
After I set up a template, registered some websites and applying configuration template to them, I setup up 2FA in those websites.
Till now no-problems and everything seems to work fine but in WF Central > Configuration I see “Local Changes” to those website: is it ok to have this king of state?

No other edits I’ve done to my websites, just 2FA setup for users.

I have to keep “Local Changes” endless in my dashboard?
What if I would re-apply template to my website just to read “In Sync”, I will override my current configuration and lose 2FA?

    I’m sorry… I’m new to WF Central.
    Thanks

    Hi @frensis,

We have recently made some changes to try mitigating some of the “Local Changes” statuses other customers were seeing under similar circumstances. However, there are cases where the site genuinely does have some minor configuration differences to the template that can be solved from within Central itself.

Visit the Configuration tab, click on the cog for each site within the template and pick “Review Changes” at the bottom of the “Template Actions” dropdown. You will be alerted if there’s a difference (some sites there won’t be, but sometimes alert email addresses and other settings can slightly differ). Modify these if necessary to bring them in line with the template and see if “In Sync” remains over the next day or two on the template.

If you still experience problems after trying this, feel free to send the email address associated with your account to wftest @ wordfence . com, making sure to put your forum username in the subject so we can find it easily. Reply here if you’ve done that so we know to take a look at the templates on your account!

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Hi Peter, thank you for your clarification.
“Local changes” status was due to slightly differences like spaces in notification emails list.

Anyway I didn’t know “Review changes” feature… I got it!

I also didn’t know about “Review changes”; thank you. But when I go and review the changes, it says “The template is in sync with the site configuration. You can re-apply the configuration using the button below.”

So… why the message that it is not? (Sync State = Local Changes)
