When looking at the Wordfence Live Traffic, why does Wordfence show the incorrect timezone for the website?

I’m in the US Mountain timezone. My client’s site is in London, England. (UTC +0)

WordPress is set to UTC+0, The server is UTC+0, PHP is UTC+0.

Other plugins that report the time all show UTC+0.

Wordfence Live Traffic shows my local (Mountain) time. (The Wordfence Live Traffic elapsed time is correct)

Why doesn’t Wordfence use the timezone that is set in WordPress? When trying to analyze problem I find the discrepancy irritating and time-consuming.

Is there a way to manually set the timezone in Wordfence?

  • Hi @kendawes
The timestamps for the live traffic entries are configured according to the browser settings not WordPress settings, so it will show the time in your local timezone, the same will happen for your client.

    Thanks.
