Hello! I was wondering if the Live Traffic view consumes a lot of database space over time? I want to keep it on but I’m a bit worried about db bloat. Best practice here? Ty

    Hi @moriah9,

Thanks for reaching out! Live Traffic does store its data in your database (in the wfhits table), but it’s bounded. By default, it’s capped at 2,000 rows, and Wordfence’s daily cron trims anything beyond that, so it won’t grow unbounded over time.

If you’d like to keep more (or less), you can change that limit at Wordfence > All Options. Type “Amount of Live Traffic data to store” into the search box at the top of that page, and it’ll jump you straight to the setting. Smaller values keep the table tighter; larger values let you scroll back further but use more space.

    Cheers,
    Margaret
