INDEED
If i disable object cache it is working smoothly.

Why is this happening? Does it have to do with the server itself?

Hi,
from the cases I have seen , it usually due to user enables object cache , but it actually doesn’t have redis or memcached process running , or set incorrect host/port/user/pass
so object cache trying to connect and then timeout due to mis-configuration , and that connection will be hanging until it times out

For future reference.
There was an error in the the Object tab in the configuration of the plugin.
It was “localhost” and it worked fine for several months but something changed in the server and i have to put the new correct host there and also enable memcached on my account (it was enabled in the sever, but not in my account).
So fo everyone facing similar problems.
1. Check if memcached (or redis) is enabled in the Object tab in the configuration of the plugin.
2. Check is the host is the correct one (check if the Connection Test is Passed inhe Status area of the same Object tab)
