LiteSpeed Cache X-LiteSpeed-Cache: bkd on cacheable pages
-
Hi,
I’m trying to understand the meaning of
X-LiteSpeed-Cache: bkdand was hoping you could clarify. We’re seeing this on the first visit to most pages on our website.I did two requests to the same standard WordPress page and got the following responses.
First request:
X-LiteSpeed-Cache: bkdX-QC-Cache: miss
Second request a few seconds later:
X-QC-Cache: hit- No
X-LiteSpeed-Cacheheader present
My understanding is that the first request reached the origin server and the second was served from QUIC.cloud. LiteSpeed Cache is enabled and the crawler is configured to warm all pages at regular intervals (2 hours, its a small site). The page is also served through QUIC.cloud CDN.
Does
X-LiteSpeed-Cache: bkdmean no cache was hit and the page was generated from scratch? I didn’t think this should happen with our current setup. Thanks for any clarification you can provide.
