LiteSpeed Cache Database Optimization panel – no results

Site: grapixo.se (WordPress, LiteSpeed Cache v7.9.1)
Browsers tested: Brave (Shields disabled) and Chrome — identical behavior in both

Issue: In LiteSpeed Cache → Database Optimization, clicking the red “X” cleanup icons on individual cards (Post Revisions, Expired Transients, All Transients, Trashed Posts, Trackbacks/Pingbacks, and “Clean All”) produces no visible result. Confirmed via DevTools in both browsers:
- Network tab: no admin-ajax.php request is sent at all when clicking
- Console tab: no JavaScript errors logged, before or after clicking
- Counts remain completely unchanged after clicking and hard-refreshing
Troubleshooting already tried:
- Hard refresh after clicking — counts unchanged
- Deactivated Kadence Security Pro entirely and retried — no change
- Purged LiteSpeed page cache (Toolbox → Purge All) before retrying — no change
- Disabled Brave Shields for the site — no change
- Tested in Chrome as well as Brave — identical result in both
- Confirmed via DevTools in both browsers: no network request fires, no console error appears
Question: Since the click produces zero network activity and zero console errors in two different browsers, the click handler doesn’t appear to be bound to these buttons at all, rather than the AJAX call failing server-side. Is there a known plugin conflict that prevents this panel’s JS from initializing? Could you confirm which script handle should be enqueued on this admin page and help us verify whether it’s actually loading?

@andersswe The action that should happen after click is a page refresh.
Try enabling “keep logs”(or “persistent logs”, to keep requests from previous interactions) checkbox for network so you can see what happens.

Try disabling browser plugin, they might stop interactions.

Follow-up on: Database Optimization panel — cleanup buttons don’t fire any request

Browser for this test: Brave (Shields off, LastPass extension disabled)

Per your suggestion, I checked with “Preserve log” enabled in DevTools Network tab and with browser extensions (LastPass) disabled. Result is unchanged:
- Filtered the Network tab to “ajax” only, cleared the log, then clicked one of the cleanup buttons (e.g. “Trashed Posts”) — no new admin-ajax.php request appears at all, even with logs preserved across the interaction
- The only admin-ajax.php calls visible are the routine WordPress Heartbeat requests firing on their own timer, unrelated to the click
(Note: an earlier, separate round of testing — without Preserve log — was also confirmed identical in Chrome, and with Kadence Security Pro fully deactivated. Haven’t yet re-tested this specific Preserve-log check in Chrome.)

This confirms the click handler itself does not appear to be bound to these buttons — the issue is happening before any network request would be sent. Separately, I noticed this admin page loads the full Gutenberg block-editor script bundle (block-editor.min.js, blocks.min.js, etc.), and every script on the page appears to load twice (once as a 304, once as a 200) — could this double-initialization be relevant to a click handler failing to bind?

Is there a specific JS console command or debug flag we could run to check whether the panel’s own script (litespeed-cache admin JS) successfully initializes on this page?

@andersswe Not sure exactly what is happening.

One thing that caught my attention is that you look for AJAX. That is not the case here.
When you click on any icon from LSCWP => Database it will refresh the page. No ajax or extra click event. Filter for DOC requests

It should load a page like: https://test.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=litespeed-db_optm&LSCWP_CTRL=db_optm&LSCWP_NONCE=asdasdasdasd&litespeed_type=action_name_here
Then redirect to: https://test.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=litespeed-db_optm
Activate all browser plugins and systems as you want.
If any of these has error then something is blocking the request on server level.

Please enable debug from LSC and see what error it shows( I can help with this step).

Let’s add to Debug URL include: db_optm and clear logs.
Run a optimization and look for link like:
page=litespeed-db_optm&LSCWP_CTRL=db_optm&LSCWP_NONCE=xxxxx&litespeed_type=xxxxx

Please send the page logs(same request have the 3 chars the same).
