Listings Links Not Working

I added a shortcode to list the listings on the homepage of a site I’m building. When you click on the listings however, it just reloads the homepage. The initial URL of the page is http://barryprop.builddomain.ca. After clicking on the listing I get a URL something like this: http://barryprop.builddomain.ca/?pid=4&alias=Home-389-Waterloo-Drive-Kingston-CAD1-795&wplview=property_show

Even though the URL changes, it still stays on the homepage. What is going wrong here? Everything else is working well.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

WPL main page is set to your website home page. To change it, first create a page (named properties or listings or whatever you like) and then put [WPL] as content of the page. Then select the newly created page as WPL Main page in WPL->Settings->SEO->Main Page.

Hello, thanks for the reply! This didn’t solve my issue though.

I have the Main Page set to the Properties page. Everything works well on that page. When I click on a listing on that page it takes me to the proper listing.

What I would like to do is have some featured listings display on my homepage as well. Currently though, when someone clicks on one of the listings featured on the homepage, it just reloads the homepage, rather than taking them to their desired listing.

I’m using the WPL Hidden widget area using the (WPL) Carousel widget to display the featured listings on the homepage.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.
It seems you selected target page option in the carousel widget and set it to home page. please unset it and then it will work as you expected.
